If so that seems quite high. I bought my 350 for $850.00 US on Amazon.com. The Price was thru Adorama and I have heard that they call and try to sell you accesories, but I did not have that problem.

nope that is in australian dollars after i have done the conversion.

Lisa... I am not sure about the rules in Australia, but in Canada, one has to pay tax not only on the cost of the item, but also the cost of shipping. In essence, they are taxing you on the total cost of the item at the time of reception.
You may want to check into that, as it could add a bit of tax. The cost of shipping to OZ would depend on the shipping method you opted for.

the prices i put on here include shipping. I will look further into the import tax part but i am quite sure i read digital cameras pay no import tax. Along with lens as well. But i will definately check it out further. Seeing you are in canada Ray, do you know anything about Prodigital2000?
