The first day of summer is here! Photograph something HOT! Could be eggs in the frying pan, could be your best guy or gal in that new swim suit. Get out there and keep it cool, when you make this HOT SHOT! Basic Editing.

dont see what eggs in a frying pan have to do with summer though!

When I was a kid we would fry eggs on the hot pavement.

Hot enough?

Last night a barn fire happened down the end of our street, grabbed my small Ixus and raced down to grab some shots - fired off one and oh no, dead battery... My D70 battery was recharging at the time!

Photojournalism - there's an art to it (or at least make sure your batteries are fully charged on all cameras at all times!!)

I think he did that on purpose so people would question it and the SC wouldn't think it was only their descriptions everyone gripped about.

Interesting...the cows in this image don't seem to be phased by the fire at all.

That bull just hung up with the insurance agent, it is all covered so cows are looking forward to a rebuilt home.

It's not the first day of summer everywhere so why not shoot something to represent the new season where you are.

You're right cpanaioti...It's only the first day of summer in the Northern Hemisphere. Sorry about that. My oversite. Still would be fun to shoot something "Hot", even if it is the first day of winter!
