It is while chasing public opinion that one becomes like the dog determined to grab its tail.

LOL:)) How true!

Again, I think your shot was very nice indeed, but the oomph on comes from the extra questions that arise upon viewing it.

So I tried to creat 'questions' and thought on my Construction entry...the big question seems to be "What were you thinking?" I can't win!

I'm not sure photographers create "the questions"...They pop up in the minds of viewers, and to some extent it is the viewers who create the questions about certain images. So yeah, it's subjective. The nicest thing happens sometimes, when the photographer sees questions, take shots, and the images' viewers ask questions as well, the same ones, or not--it doesn't matter. The connection has been made.

Thank you Prof Fate

This one is mine and my highest scoring shot so far. I am still a beginner and seeing my picture in this thread is a huge compliment.

I can't agree with you more on this one! It was one of my favorites and not to hurt anybody's feelings, I like it much more than the black and white one. But that's what makes art so subjective!

Tried so hard to find a nice interesting frame, I forgot to include something it was framing.. So, in my opinion, I ended up with a nice frame.. but nothing framed.

:-/ oh well.. I'm doing rather well for construction.. :-)

This one scored lower than the other child/ baby examples posted in the thread for me because I felt it missed the point of NATURALLY framed - the frame was entirely, absolutely provided artificially by the photographer. I liked both the other images displayed earlier in the thread which I felt made wonderful use of natural frames in their compositions.
