| I go to the annual Chicago blues fest every year, but I've never been impressed with the lineup until now. Both Koko Taylor and Buddy Guy will be performing on Saturday. I hope I can capture a few good photos! I hope the weather cooperates!! Any other DPCers going?? |

I wish..... I remember one year when I was a kid, my Dad recorded the entire thing off of NPR, at least I think it was NPR, but anyway. I must have listened to those tapes over and over. I love the blues. hmmmm Chicago IS only about 4 hours away from where I live....... now you've gone and tempted me....

| I love the blues too. I can't wait! Other performers include Mavis Staples (Sunday) and Pinetop Perkins (mmm, Fri or Sat?), Billy Branch ... well it goes on. |

I am sooooooooooo green with envy. I have seen Buddy Guy a few years back & was going to go to Koko Taylor but she was unable to come out here due to health reasons & then when she was in New Zealand, I wasn't :(

i'll get my pics. posted here in a bit just got back from there by way of bike....
and last night train....
and wowzers buddy was amazing h went through the crowed and i managed to get into pertillo's main seating 15min. before the came on
"i say u give me feavor"
anyways some of em are really noisy since i had to shoot at ISO 1600
but hey they are of buddy guy so who cares.

ok edits are taking a really long time.....so i will be back with them later.
and to photodude......i know hopefully someday i will be a good as my teacher and back him at his club....its to bad its an all-out bar.........
btw my teacher was his back-up guitar (when he went to his club) i think in '95 he doesn't come by as offten as he should.

still not done editing everything i took, but these will prob. be the only 1s i will post anyway so there u have it.........(btw they are all of Mr.Guy i have others of some bands that played also but he's just so good the rest arn't even worth posting on the same page).
like i said some of them are noisy, and some not so much-
