Looking for birds to shoot for the challenge - this one was easy to get a bead on, unfortunately.

Ya know.... this could actually be a neat albeit disgusting challenge..... roadkill.....

yeah Roadkill!! There's a gruesome fox that has been on my roadside for a week now.....just now ready for a good photo shoot. lol

If I were you I would have the State pick the bird up to check for West Nile Virus.

It was downtown in a park (substantial distance from home). There has been numerous testing of birds in our immediate area of the state and several cases of West Nile reported. Most of the time the cases have shown up in Crows and Blue Jays (larger birds).
Good heads-up on that one...

i took a similar pic earlier today of a lil baby bird that was run over or sumin'.
pretty sure it will score a brown ribbon if I enter it tho.

Think it has been discussd before. Alot of people out there that just don't have the fortitude to even handle anything close a WHOLE challenge (not that they should look or participate anyway).
My VERY FIRST submission was a roadkill raccoon for the Despair challenge. Almost got a 5!
I am going to go look for this...a guy went out and was going to only take ONE shot over 3 days of hiking. Was of a dead deer. Let me go look.
