Since I uploaded these for passing mention in another thread, I thought I might as well see if I can get any feedback on 'em. These were taken in (obviously) poor lighting conditions, and I overprocessed the heck out of the red one to make it look like that (not just an issue of bad white balance.. :)). Anyway, I like these for some reason... I think it's the horrible mask. Seriously... we're talking bargain bin Wal-Mart here; he had to keep taking the thing off because it was sweaty/steamy inside, and smelled funny.
Any comments or critiques? I'd appreciate it!

I think the photos are fine. Like most night shots I think Halloween shots turn out better when you don't take them in the dead of night. Take them just after sunset when it's still light out. Makes exposing for the lights and jacks easier.
You may want to consider leaving your mask out for a week to air out before you wear it next. Give it a coating of talc on the inside so it doesn't get sticky or if you're prone to sweating you can add cotton to the inside of the mask. Helps a lot actually. Also helps masks keep their shape. |
