Whaaa! My final exams in school start tomorrow. I'm not nervous all. I'm relaxed. I don't have to worry. I'm cool.
...
Okay, I'm a mental wreck and my knees shake.
I'll have to start with Spanish, then come German, English, French, History, Economy and Philosophy.
Some motivation would be nice :)

gloda~

You want motivation? I'll give ya motivation; if you fail these exams your life will be ruined, your lot will be penury and despair, you will disappear from the consciousness of attractive women forevermore.

On the other hand, if you pass with flying colors, the whole world will be your oyster, there will be no choice you will not be allowed to make.

That work? No? I didn't think so... Hyperbole rarely does, these days...

Good luck anyway. If you know yer stuff, you won't have a problem.

It'll all be over in a week or so, then you can relax by shooting some more great pics. Good Luck.

Look at it this way...at least it's not a Spanish History test given in German requiring all answer to be in French. ;)

I'm sure you'll do fine, good luck.

From what I can determine you have an easy load....except for English.

How anyone can know what those English cats are talking about really confuses me. If only they spoke more like Americans, or even Canadians, it would be less confusing.

Anyone from the UK help this child. Please lord, help....... aaaaaaaaaggh.

I wouldn't worry, those arent that difficult subjects, and most of them are related (languages)

I just finished my finals 2 weeks ago, try taking 2 language tests, photography, anatomy, photoshop, 3d drawing, nude drawings, math, art history, bookmaking, and colors and composition test, all in the same week ;)

that is 11 tests in 5 days, with average score of 72%, highest score 96% (photography), lowest 54% (bookmaking).

and that is not that much even.. the pro pilot test is 28 tests in 11 days, with the lowest score allowed 70% in each test to pass ;) my brother just finished his last year, top of the class :)

Any translations happily given for a small fee! (rubs hands together, grinning evilly)
I draw the line at James Joyce, however, or anything by Jane Austen (can't stand her)

Thank you all for the kind words. I'm off to school now, my exams start in an hour. At least, when all this is over, I'll (most probably) have my brandnew 350D and a 3 months holiday to take thousands of pictures :)

Yeah, my exams are finally over! I just ruined my average with a disastrous exam in history this morning, but I'm glad it's over. Now, where's my XT?

I made the mistake of buying my Digital Rebel XT AND getting a membership to DPC the weekend before my first exam started...the tempation to do absolutely nothing and go out and shoot is overwhelming most of time...it will be over soon at least :)

Good luck with your results, Gloda. Enjoy your freedom ;)

I made sure that the XT would NOT arrive before all my exams were written. I know exactly that I wouldn't have learned anything (related to school) otherwise.

Guess what just arrived?

Ah, thanks. Luckily, I'm in a languages class (A1), which is the only one that didn't have mathematics in their finals.

Yesterday I had to pass oral examination in English. Afterwards, one of the examinators asked me whether I had English-speaking parents. I think that means I did well :)

A friend just called me to tell me the results.
I passed with "very good".
This afternoon I'll even meet the embassador of the UK at a reception - I had more problems with the 'English tie knot' than with six years of English classes :)
