Hi, I'm at a friend's house (who I would ask but he's out of town...) using his PSCS. I only have PS 5.5 at home-
I've heard a little about neat image and was wondering if this was integrated or an add on you have to pay for? I need to work out the artifacts in a few images and 5.5 just isn't cutting it!!!

its an addon and you have to pay for it..
there may be a 30 day trial tho i think...

The trial version compresses the image a great deal when you save. On some images this may not be a problem however on others it doesn't cut the mustard.

I wonder if cs2 will have it? I did try the trial and you're right- way too compressed.

cs2 has its own neat filter

u can get neat image the software on its own. it never expires & it's free.
do a quick google search for u'll be set
