There's a bright blue small streak in my pics- might this mean my mirror needs a cleaning or is it something awful? |

I'm assuming it is happening on all pictures no matter what lens you have one? Can you show an example? If it is always on the image in the same place, same focus and all that then yes it is probably something on your mirror or sensor (well the covering over it anyway)

Thanks Scott,
I only have one lens & it was only off before I put it together. The blue is always in the same spot and I can't post the images because they are for the next challenge... ;0)
guess I'll have to do some more shots to check this out!

If it's bright and blue I expect its more likely a hot pixel (sensor fault) than dust, as dust usually shows up darker.

Can you take a sample photo and post that instead?
