The beauty of framing. Fun stuff. Love the busyness. Good job.

Construction Out-takes
I didn't enter in the end. I had several different themes but didn't get the result I wanted

Pulled it out at the last minute, tried to get the shot in a rush on the last day and it didn't really work out.

I thought this was a bit abstract for the challenge, wasn't sure how well it would do.
What do you guys think? Would appreciate comments :)

El bumperino. Keen to know whether or not I made the right choice by not submitting. C 'n C? Would appreciate it.
Thanks-

Here was the one I almost went with...it's got similar processing to my entry, but nowhere near similar subject and feel. Hopefully, I made the right choice...

This was a construction reject. At the time I was frustrated because I thought the light was too harsh and the Osprey (in the tree) was hard to see.
Submitted something different, and now I'm sorry. I'm working on my all time worst score.
Does anyone think this image would have done better than 4.68...oh, it just went up to my second worst score. Thank you somebody.

Even the dog gave an opinion?

I would have scored it harshly me thinks...very little relevance to the challenge topic. But then, your 4.68 is better than my 4.67.

looks more abandoned buidling to me than construction. I thnk many voters would feel the same, and the loook of it is different, but not DPC high scoring kind of different.

Thanks for the honesty. My submission is very relevant and boring. Just gives me motivation to improve. Hope your score goes up:) |

One comment i got from a non-US DPCr gives a hint as to perhaps my low scoring - he does not get the construction connection. Oh well...there is always next time.

Decided I should go for something less abstract. Current score just over 5.0. I'm not sure I did the right thing.

I'm partial to spirals and diagnals. I would have given you much better than a 5 on this. |

I like the picture a lot, but I don't think it would receive as high a score as it should. The building looks like it's in a state of restoration, but without the standard construction images (hard hat, scaffolding, etc.) I think a lot of voters wouldn't take the time to appreciate it.
