In another thread bear/Robt. suggested using Gothic Glow. I went to the site and downloaded the file for it. However, it is an ATN file so PI won't recognize it even though PS plug-ins will work in PI. So what I need to know is where in PS would you put this file? As in directory? I have PS Elements 2 installed and can use it in that but I see ATN files in so many sub-directories.

.atn is an action. It tells PS each step it needs to do & which filters, effects to apply. As far as I know actions only worl in PS, Sorry.

I don't know about which directory, I'm fairly new to PS, but I have loaded actions. I keep a folder on my computer for downloaded actions then I just open it and drag and drop the new action into the action pallette. Seems to be the easiest way for me.

Not sure if that helps any but thought I'd mention it :)

But Elements has loads of action / .atn files.

Thx. I will try that when I get home tonight unless someone tells me something different.

Well thank you for the responses. rlinn you are right - it does not work in PSE.

Another interesting thing I noticed though is the .8bf files in PSE2 are protected. By this I mean that if I copy them to the appropriate directory in PI10, they show up as options, but the menu calls the directory I put them in 'hidden' even though when selected all of them are there. The directory was previously not labeled this way - it was called PSStuff. However, when you try and open them it gives an error message. Strange since all that is in the directory is .8bf files that I have taken from PhotoShop and all the regular PS .8bf files work but the PSE files don't and cause the dir to be labeled differently. Hmm.....
