It seems that when images are uploaded, the name of the images is retained
and this name is easy to find during voting. If someone has submitted
enough pictures, it is (relatively) easy to determine (with a fair amount
of certainty) the photographer to which the image belongs.

I'd recommend having image names obfuscated at the time of submission by
hashing the name. Even better would be to use the MD5 fingerprint of the
image itself as the name.
