Thank you Shannon, I appreciate your comments..I like the second version more myself..the boat I was taking the shot from turned around and I had a different light all of a sudden..Not that I realized it at the time mind you, I was just trying to focus as best I could. |

Looks like you a a beautiful day for the ride! Nice scenes, but probably a little earlier or later in the day would have made the light a little more interesting. As for composition, it would be difficult to change much while on a boat, but you might want to try some creative cropping etc....play around with the shots you have.
Thanks for sharing the photos! |

Just a quick idea of something that could give you two photos out of one shot. Resolution stinks 'cause I used your web file, but just an idea. Hope you don't mind! |

Nice photos and beautiful area, but to me these look like vacation snap shots (sorry, but you said to be straight). I'd suggest working on some composition theories such as rule of thirds, angles, leading lines and even framing. Rather then take a dead on shot of something, use a camera angle, lighting or a composition to make people see it in a different way. This is what I strive for.
"bogaz kopru" (i have no idea what I just said) is my favorite of the ones posted. You did a good job with getting interesting angles and using the rule of thirds here.

Thannk you Daryl for your very helpful comments...
By the way, Bogaz koprusu means Bosphorus Bridge in Turkish.. Its the official name the bridge goes by :)
