First, a quick thanks to everyone who helped me pick out a license plate. I called the Pennsylvania DMV and asked if my first choice plate is available. When I told the woman the letter combination (WALK4MS), she said "that's awesome!" and then confirmed that it was indeed available. The application is mailed and I should have the plate within 47 days!

I'd also like to extend a HUGE thank you to everyone who donated to my Challenge Walk effort in May. Thanks to you the May donations doubled the finds raised to date, bringing the total to an even $700! This is well over 1/4 of the way to my fundraising goal. Can we double it again in June? Let's find out!

My team's first meeting will be coming up this month, and after that I hope to get the team web site up and running. As part of that, I will be kicking off a print auction. John Setzler has generously donated a professionally framed print for the purpose, and I'm looking forward to helping that print find a good home, while raising money for a great cause at the same time!

Once again, thanks again for all your support! If you have not yet donated, but would like to do so, you can donate online or contact me if you prefer to donate offline.

Once again, THANK YOU (I just can't say it enough!)

-Terry

Come on DPCers...

Lets help Terry on his walk...even a dollar, a pound, a euro, a (fit in your currency) goes a long way.. YEs, its in the US.......BUT {and its a big but {hush, Jacko}) it helps the whole world.

Multiple Sclerosis takes over a persons body..no matter where that person is in the world. The cure for MS hasn't been found... but the money you donate may help them FIND a cure!!

I've donated $50.00 to Terry's walk...I challenge you to donate what you can afford...or Buy one of Terry's pictures on his DPprints site... or get in the auction for John's print... DO WHAT YOU CAN!!

Bump for the weekday folks...

Whether you can afford to donate $1/mile ($50), or $25, 10 or even $5, together these donations go a long way to improving the quality of life for people with MS.

I was talking with my doctor today and some of his comments really underscored the amazing progress that has been made in recent years... as recently as 10-15 years ago he would tell patients with MS that he really hated making that diagnosis, because it was a "dead-end" diagnosis at the time -- no treatments were available. Amazing progess has been made in recent years, and without the support of people like you, none of it would be possible.

Thanks again!

My tile mural donation offer for an auction to raise $$ still stands Terry. Lets hook up to get details going now that things have slowed down here a bit.

If anyone read my post before this edit, it still stands. I just want to PM Terry first and make sure it is OK to do what I pledged. If he feels like it is OK and does violate any of this site's rules then he can post letting me know its OK.
