Hi all,

I'm looking to buy the Sunpak readylite-20 video light, but I'm unable to figure out if the supplied charger (CHG-16) will work on 240V. Is there anybody around here who has this light, and could tell me if the charger is suitable for 240V?

Thanks in advance!

Do you have access to a store wehere the unit is stocked so you can look at it? It sure doesn't look like the info is available on the web. If you can physically examine it, look at either the body of the charger, or the charger power supply if separate, and there should be a spec printed on or molded in, that says something like:

Input: 110-240 VAC

This tells you that it will accept input voltages from 110 volts to 240 volts without a converter.
If you don't have direct access to a store that stocks it, call a reputable store and ask them to check it for you.

No, I don't have access to a store where it is stocked, the only stores that appear to have it in stock are in the US. Around here I'm unable to find it, so I'm thinking about ordering it from B&H or Adorama, but before I do that I would like to be sure the charger accomodates both 110 and 240V.
