Let's see..
My first digital camera:
HP 315 - Approx. 11,000 photos
My next digital (which I only had for a month):
Kodak DX7530 - Approx. 1,000 photos
The replacement when I realized I needed something with more manual control:
Fuji Finepix s7000 - 8870 photos
And Finally, the crown jewel:
Pentax *ist Ds - 2951 photos, and counting
For a grand total of approximately: 23,821
Definitely not as many as a bunch of you.. but it's up there. I can't even begin to think about how many I took with the old 35mm Pentax SLR.

EOS 350D : 1259 in three weeks (174 yesterday)
About 10000 in 2 years if you add the DSC-P72, the DSC-V1, the DSC-V3 and the DSC-F828.
I'll probably double that within the next 2 months. It's so fast and so fun taking 50 shots with the Canon.

I hit 17,182 today with my 20D, I know I flipped both my PowerShot S50 and PowerShot Pro1. So for someone that started about a year and a half ago thats not too shabby.

Been shooting for 30 years, so I don't have a total. This year so far: 10,000+.

About 9000 on my trusty (and dusty) old Fuji Finepix 4900, and just passed 6000 this weekend on my 10D. Of course, there were the old film frames... but those were ancient history.
I'm sure not up to the "DPC Fanatic" standard. :)

2690, but I shoot a lot of SLR pictures too because I have a bigger lense for that camera. I just got my digital at christmas. At any given time I can easily shoot 3-4 rolls of film. |

that makes it 69.000 photos :) |
59,000 of those images are digital.
Questions:
1-What is the timeframe for taking all your digital images?
2-What do you take pictures of to accumulate so many images?
3-How do you find time for post processing the good ones?
I have taken a little over 22,000 images in the last 2 1/2 years and find it literally impossible to keep up with post-processing the good images of that group.

This year: 500, only a few for DPC, one in a newspaper, 100 for sold prints, 20 will be published (small scale) in 2006.
Last year: app 2000
2003: app. 10000-15000
In the beginning I pointed my camera at everything and fired away. Now I still point the camera at everything but don't take shots that I know are going to be crap anyway. And even then only a few are really to my liking.

I started taking pictures in the early '90s so it's about 10 years, many of my pictures never get to post processing, about 75% at least :)
My pictures are 30% landscape, 30% birds/wildlife, 25% family, 10% buildings/construction, 5% everything else.
I'm a student so I do have time to play with my pictures, but when I go out shooting, like last friday, I took 220 images, maby 20 will get to postprocessing and only 10 will be displayed, 2 of them are in the challenges now.
