Your site has a clean and professional look that I like very much. One issue, however, is that viewers' pop-up blockers interfere with the larger versions of the pix loading. You can circumvent that by having the larger pix load into a separate, smaller window.

Excellent job. I really like what you've done here.

I agree with papgei, nice and clean. I also had pop-up blocker issues. I am not sure about using JavaScript code to disable right clicking on the site. If I really want to take one of your images, print screen is only one keystroke. I could also just click and hold over your image and drag it to my desktop. I think a watermark would be more effective, if you're really concerned with image theft. Good luck on your new site.

Or...disable javascript in your browser, THEN right-click. ;^)

Ummm...that's pretty substantial for just family and friends? Resume, Stats, Contact, Guestbook, Subscribe, FAQ's, etc... Looks to be going commercial anytime now. ;^)

A nice little javascript image gallery would work nicely.. www.ofshellandstone.com check out the gallery on this site i made.. The images pre-load and can be exploded into the large view with a simple click, no need for downloading/pop ups.. etc..

Disabling javascript may stop the entire page from working if there is javascript code on the page.

Very professional looking! Only bugs I found were the pop-up blocker issue and the scaling of images in your slideshows (at least in the "Fall in Roxbury NJ" gallery). The first image (the rim on the wall) comes up fine, but the rest are slightly horizontally stretched (particularly obvious when the rim comes around again and is no longer circular).

No offense to buzzmom, but this appears to be a standard gallery available from //www.proimageguide.com/, not an original design or somthing like that, so that's what the additional links are all about. It's still nice, but Firefox don't like the popups.

Usually not. In this case by 'Disabling' scripts in my IE browser security settings I was able to right-click and see the context menu without any problem (Save Picture As...).

...but I did lose the 'Home, Challenges, Community, etc..' links on DPC! Better turn scripts back on. ;^)

It depends on the script.

As far as being able to right click, javascript code to disable this has no effect in Netscape.

Even if you use that, there are still many other methods of "stealing" the images. The only sure way to be 'safe' from 'image theft' is to simply not display the images ever or painfully obscure most of the image.

Either of the above methods won't necesarily 'win' any sales.
