Hi all, I have a couple of questions about puting images into my portfolio?
1. Do they have to be pics from challenges?
2. Do you size and save them the same as you would for a challenge submition?
Hope I am not asking questions that have already been answered a million times before, started to look for other posts asking these questions but could not find any.

1.) Nope, they certainly do not have to be from challenges. They need to conform to the site Terms of Service regarding content, but that's it.
2.) Should be 640px max on longest side, yes, and you might even want to compress them a little more than you would for challenges, to save space. Note that challenge entries do not count against your portfolio space.

For what it's worth, uploading, one at a time can be a hassle if numerous shots are being added.
Put them all in a zip file and upload the zip file. Server end unzips them and adds them to the destination folder you chose or just in the portfolio itself if no specific folder was selected.
Sure makes it a lot easier when adding a number of images.
