I took this photo a few days ago, and it has a surreal look to it.
My wife made me go out to the location because she believed it was not totally a real photo. Has there been any other photo's out there that look so fake. I did crop, hue adjustments on sky and grass, sharpening
and shadow adjustments.

Yesterday, a motorcyclist passed me wearing a monster mask and rainbow colored clown hair. Now THERE'S something you don't see every day! |

I would be concerned about the sensor in my camera if it had unintentionally produced that barn shot.
I would venture the group shot was manipulated outside the camera and is not unintentional.
On the other hand, that manhole shot is a signifigant piece of work. I am marking it as a favorite.

Those other shots are fine and dandy, great work, wonderful examples of our art, etc etc, but poor coble's genuinely astonishing find had gone virtually unremarked. So I take this opportunity to thank him for showing us one of the most bizarre examples of architectural "decoration" I've ever seen. Dude, if this thing is within easy reach of your domicile, you need to go out there many times and SERIOUSLY shoot the livin' daylights out of it from all possible angles. Ask the owner for permission if need be. That suckah HAS to be publishable somewhere...
Hell, if it was within an 8-hour drive from here, I'd make a pilgrimage. Where's it at, exactly?
Robt.
Shoot, I see by profile it must be Oregon, 3000 miles from me :-(

Actually...
Before the shot
Just before the shot
and Just after the shot
1/10 second was enough for the blur. It was unintentional, with no intellectual motivation behind it. I'm too sucky a shot-taker to plan it, and my PS skills are almost non-existent. Thanks for the doubt. It floated my ego for a second :) |
Glad to help float the ego. Looks like you did crank that color saturation a bit, but it doesn't detract from a truly suureal shot. Thanks for the timeline. |
