How to flip a selection or a layer in PS. My friend asked me to prepare two portraits of him, one made out of his left side of the face and the second one out of his right side of his face. Can you help me please in this?

Open the file, save-as "filename reversed". cntrl-A to select all, edit/rotate image/flip horizontal or vertical. Make new selection of the side you want on this one, then copy it and paste it onto the original.

Thanks Robert. It is done. Your way is smart and easy. I thought it would be possible to do it working with only one file, I guess you can not flip just a selection or a layer alone.

You should be able to duplicate the backgound layer and flip the duplicate. You'll have to export two printable files though, toggling the visibility of the layers to reveal the version you want. |
