		| | I am a newbie, both to digital photography and to DP Challenge, so I'm fumbling around a bit still. For the Granular Challenge, I may have something to submit, but my photo has a lot of background clutter in it because of a large depth of field. I was wondering how I could mitigate this without running afoul of the basic editing rules of the contest. Any suggestions are welcome. |

		| | Don't think you can fix that in editing for the basic challenge. Maybe go back and reshoot. Then again I am not SC or the higher powers.

		| | You can't make selections in Basic Editing. Your only hope would be if the background is a totally different color. Then you could blur or desaturate the entire blue channel (for example) and leave a red subject intact. |
