I just got a gift membership from an anonymous user....does that happen often. ANyways I am a member now but want to know how that happened. Who ever it was thanks a lot.

It wasn't me, but I know there are a couple of really good hearted, generous folks here. They run around here dropping their 'happy dust' as they go.

| I remember you. You were saying in a thread the other day about other sites like DPC because you wanted more challenges, and someone suggested you sign up to access members challenges because you're a good photographer. Looks like someone did a really generous thing! |

Yes, it does happen. My membership is thanks to a wonderful generous person here on the dpc community. Many others are also. That is the heart and support of the folks here. Recently, a member faced some hardship and a lot of folks pitched in and got her a new camera. That is why, IMO, and several other reasons to boot, you'll not find another site that even comes close to comparison to DPC. Welcome aboard, shoot a lot of photos and have some fun :-)

Hmmmm... I've had my eye on a new Dodge Viper, but I really can't afford it. Guess I'll just keep driving the ol' Yugo. Did I mention we have a baby on the way?
