Used a fan and one 500 watts in front and one in the back. What you think?

I think you did a fine job here for the most part. There is something about the smile I'm not sure about. Looks a little scared maybe. I took your photo one step ferther and would like to post it and tell you what I did with it but won't post it without your permission first. Let me know. I only wish to help and give you more ideas to work with. I think that is what we all are here for anyway (-:

I think you did a good job for the most part! I would suggest shooting eye level or slightly above eye level for most women though.... just a bit more flattering to the majority of women.... I like the backlighting and she has beautiful eyes!

edit for grammer

Ok, a few things come to mind. The camera angle: above the nose, I don't like looking up at te subject, seeing too much nostrils is unflattering, and her chin looks too big and undefined. Also, get her to smile! Nice photo, nice depth.

I really like the lighting of the hair, it highlights a sense of motion.

She has very beautiful blue eyes; I wonder if you could use clothes of that color instead of the current one, the whole picture would have, so to speak, a nicer color harmony. Just my 2 cents, it's a good picture as is!

Really great shot, has anyone mentioned her eyes yet? if not they're GORGEOUS! the lighting is very well done as well, and the motion from the fan is wonderful. I would like to see more of a smile though... never understood the whole thing about models not smiling....

First off I don't claim to be an expert at Photoshop but I have done a lot of reading and practice and my clients seem to like what I have done for them. First I thought the face should be a little more smooth so I added about raduis 10 gaussian blur to just her face and neck area (Layer via copy). I then reduced the opacity of that layer about 80%. This left the skin a little smoother. I used the eraser tool on that layer around her eyes and lips to keep those areas nice and sharp. I wanted to bring out those eyes a little more so I darkened around the eyes. Also added a little red around her cheaks. Very slightly darkened the shadow on the side of her face. Thats it and here was what I came up with.

Also as stated by other posts, the angle is wrong and I think she should stand sideways about 45 degrees from the camera. Also think it would look better as a portrait layout

I think you need to work on your conposition and camera angles, the idea is good, and the exposure is acceptable but as a whole the shot really does not feel very glamourous.

Great subject - needs a little more attention on the composition. Definitely at a higher angle - the lights should be slightly higher so her face will look like she has more of a chin instead of flat. Try turning her body on an angle and have her turn her head with a slight tilt would be great (just to get rid of some of the ridgedness) Love the light in the back. Try more of a portraite style photo - she looks a little cut off - Love her eyes!!! If you get to shooting try some camera angles as well - often a cool effect... Most of all have fun - :P
