Dear all,
Thank you very much for your input to help me achieve a better look on this photograph. However, different people seem to like different versions of this picture, with or without sun reflection :) As per a few requests that had honored me asking for print availability, I have got the approval of both versions and they are now available for prints. As a thank you, I have put down nominal prices to share with all the friends here. Thank you once again :) U guys ar great!

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to cater to our various tastes. I will be ordering mine today! Maybe one of both. It is great to support wonderful photogrpahers and DPC Prints.

Nonage, I never buy prints (too many to choose from just my OWN, let alone anybody else's), but if I DID, then your "Gems in the rock" would be on my list.
I'm curious about the full color version, but I bet you made the right choice with the partial desaturation.
Well done, very nice pic! |

thanks for sharing the color version.
And yes - you made the right choice. Your version improved a photo that was already very very nice! |

Thanks Nathan, this look perfect now. I am glad you took time to guide me thru it visually. I will now try to fix the sky the as suggested. Thank you so very much indeed :D

I'd love to see how it looks when you're done. I did a quick and dirty try at it, and know that it can be done better. I'm still learning all this post-processing stuff. Then when I finally get Photoshop I'm going to have to learn it all over again. |
