Did you use Neat Image or other PS filter on it? It's kinda neat looking, but makes me think I need glasses. ;-)

I like the direction you are heading but the photograph seems flat. It just don't seem to have dept to it. Can you post the original sized down to 640x? It seems to me that the details are there but has not been brought out.

I used a blur tool. I have PhotoFiltre...no PS...I think that is my worry...that there is nothing to focus on...should there be something that stands out more? |

I will have to post the original tomorrow as I am at work right now...but I will definitely put it up. The original is much more crisp and detailed...I guess I went a little over the top on the softening and blur...still learning.... ;-) |

Thanks, Because IMO your composition and framing is great. I believe the lighting to be good. I would like to take a try at it in PS/CS to see what comes out. You have a good eye, keep with the editing.

I htink it's very nice as well, but as others say it lacks a focus. This could be achieved byu fading the blurring in the center, for example, or putting more contrast into the center, or something... I'd take a shot at the original also, if it were available.
Robt.

I think you've got the right idea, going for kind of a soft and gentle look for what appears to be a very serene place....but I think right now it has a touch too much blur. It looks a little too soft and hazy for me. I would lighten up on the blur a bit, and I would also decide where you want the focus of the pic to be and make sure to have that as your crispest (unblurred) area.
I like the composition of the shot quite a bit :-) It has a nice feel to it, and I think that your eye saw something beautiful that was worth appreciating. Thanks for sharing it with us! |

Attempt in PS. I don't know if that was what you were going for. Let me know what you think?

I hated to post this since it only partially relates to the topic. But in your thumbnail of the image. Does anyone else see this face?
Looks to me like an tribal indian with green warpaint. Doesn't show up that well to me in the full size.

I like the flowers as a focal point. Here's what I did with it. Mind you, I'm not even close to being an expert.

Way too much diffusion for my taste. Needs a more prominent subject.
