May 2005 stinks!

We had already received the normal total rainfall for May by the 9th of this month. Here comes some more... up to another 4 inches! So much for shooting outdoors this weekend.

Temperature is way lower than normal too. Oh well, what can you do?

On a stingy note, I am certainly glad the rain is where you live.

Anymore rain outs with my baseball team, and we will be making up games this season into next season.

That type of rain would be so welcome here, many parts of Australia are in their 5th year of drought

Well, the rain finally stopped sometime during the night. The town of Bridgewater, which is about 1.5 hours northwest from where I live received 166mm (6.5 inches) of rain in about 36 hours. Crazy stuff.

That's why I lasted only three years in soggie Oregon and only 8 months in So. Ohio, to get back to 320+ days of sunshine here in So. Colorado, average yearly rainfall 11.5 inches. About half that in snow.

I too am sick of the rain.
My yard and basement have flooded 3 times since September 04.
If id did not rain till 06, we'd be OK they say.
Rain yesterday, today, and throught the holiday on Monday - rain every day. maybe a dry spell on Wednesday...today a high of 53 degrees.

So what? Well, com e and see the grass in my yard...you can watch it grow. And I have two housebond little ones...driving me nuts!
