These were taken this morning, was thinking about using the 2x converter, but these seem good. Any thoughts?

100% crop

100% crop then slight resize down, was to big.

Why do I keep looking at shots like this?
I know - because they are great and I like to punish myself because there's no way I can shoot with this kind of clarity.
Nice shots!

Wonderful shots. I agree the flight shot is great.

I wonder if a 2x converter could have helped on these young Long-eared Owls. I might have been able to get past some branches. Not the same birds, there were five young.

nice work - i wonder how folks find all these birds...

i see them - but usually it's a fleeting moment.

patience only goes as far as: work allows - home stuff - weather =...
