My entry is very shy. It spent all week hiding below 6, then took a peek over yesterday and ducked back down. C'mon out baby, it's OK...
I did manage to eke out a favorite, though. :-) |

I'am a new here and the apple challenge is my first challenge. I have no idea about the stats. Is nice or averages?

For a first entry this is excellent Tamas!
I'm still getting a lot of views and some controversy, really looking forward to how many 1's and how many 8's or maybe aboves I get ;) people seem to either like it or spike it ;)

last night when i went to bed at 2am my score was 5.986..huge boost in score from what it is now.I was almost there! Comments all positive but not a single new one since wednesday :(

Hoping for better next challenge. Read the challenge as using one apple. When judging, initially marked down for use of more than one apple, but then lightened up. Went back and changed the votes that I marked down for multiple apples but forgot to change the comments. Sorry.
Granular and lighting are giving me fits, Hoping for a lightning storm before midnight

| My Apple photo must not be very inspiring, only 2 comments. The part that really makes me laugh is that one comment told me I was out of focus and the next comment told me how great my focus was! Oh well, they were very helpful comments seperately, but together...I'm a bit confused!!! |

Mine has started improving from v poor, to just poor, since it got validated.
An unimpressive couple of weeks - must try harder!!

Some people don't know the difference between out of focus and soft. When a photo is "soft" it is usually due to camera jiggle (no tripod etc.) If a picture is out of focus it is clearly that the person was trying to use auto and the camera was not sure what to focus on or that the person does not know how to focus manually correctly. My husband has this problem now because I think he needs glasses. don't let it stress you. Take the good and the bad and just try to see if you can get anything from it.

Hello, Well, results are in and I'm not sure how I did... :( I'm new at this and I can't figure out where I landed on this one.
I look in my profile and it shows Cahllenges entered: 0. how is that posible?
I show an av. vote casted and that's it. What's wrong?

Hmm... are you sure you actually submitted for Apple? Did you see your score and image thumbnail on the DPC home page during the week? |
