I have followed the tutorial on getting pictures ready for DPC challenges and still have problems with how the picture looks after being uploaded. The pictures I upload tend to appear fuzzy. The files saved on my PC do not. Any Suggestions?

Thanks

What post-production program do you use? Photoshop, PaintShopPro, etc?

Are you on a dialup connection, and using a "dialup accelerator?"

I am using dialup. No dialup accelerator. Haven't heard of that.

I'm not sure which shot you might be referring to by looking at your portfolio... but I did notice that your "How many triangles?" shot is only 20k in file size... and the other two shots are under 50k. It seems that you're compressing the images too much before uploading them.

When you use the "Save For Web" feature in Photoshop, you can adjust the quality level, and you can see how large the resulting file will be. Be sure to adjust that as close to 150k as you can (without going over). That will make a HUGE difference in how sharp your photos appear. Let me know if I can be of more help with this... I'm pretty sure this is why you're having trouble.
