this statue was just put up at an interesction at my house. Watcha think?

sorry for a slightly misleading thread title, but it is a nude...

I was considering entering the one with the red light in the lighting challenge, but I felt that it really didn't meet the challenge enough to be well recieved. How would you have voted it?

It's really funny to talk to people about the statue. In general most people really don't like it, but on the positive side, it wasn't paid for by tax dollars, but by a donation orginization.

Well those statues seem the work of Botero , he also paints.
I think that he has a big sense of humor.
I don't like them very much but at least it's a different point of view.

I have seen statues like this when we lived in Madrid. Near the airport and in one of the big round-abouts in the center of the city (Cibeles maybe?)

well.. I think this artist should find himself something else to do other than sculpting horses and people..

Bernini would roll over in his grave if he would see this sorry attempt at copying some of his sculptures :)
