I have just put up my Canon 50mm f/2.5 macro lens for sale on Ebay.

I'm also selling an old (1999) but still great working Canon 28-80 f/3.5-5.6 non-USM lens here.

Why are you getting rid of the 50 2.5? Getting a 100 2.8?

Just not into macro photography and I NEVER, and I mean NEVER use this lens. I have to admit that the optics are awesome, but it just sits there in my camera bag, looking sad and pitiful.
I'm sure someone can give it a better home than me.

I own this lens - bought it because I couldn't afford both a 50mm 1.8 AND a macro lens. I've been very happy with it.
I'll be curious to see what you get for it though... just in case... |

| I own this lens also - I use it as a general purpose lens more then for macro work and find it to be very good the sharpness and DOF obtainable is excellent for a f/2.5 lens. Good luck with the sale. |

Yep. Full AF. You can switch from AF to MF on the lens barrel.
