Hello all.

I will be traveling to the Brattleboro, Vermont area June 29th until July 3rd. I was wondering if anyone could suggest places to visit (photographic preferred, but not neccessary) Anywhere within 50 miles would be AWESOME. Also, if anyone wants to meet up, that would be awesome too.

Thanks for the help in advance.

Hi jmlelii,

There are some GREAT places to visit in VT. Definitely check out the Stowe/Sugarbush area. If you're interested in nature photography, I personally enjoy checking out the waterfalls of Vermont. I've been to a few already, but there are many of them scattered throughout the area.

Check out this list:

Also check out this "best" waterfalls list: //www.neuswaterfalls.com/best

Hamilton Falls (#2 in the list) in Jamaica, VT is close to Brattleboro, I believe. I've been to Moss Glen Falls (#3) and it is amazing, although farther than 50 miles from Brattleboro. Sorry, I don't know much about extreme southern Vermont, which is where Brattleboro is located.

I hope you have fun in VT! :)

Great. I love waterfalls too- they all have their own unique features and I can sit and gaze at them for hours.

FYI, Jamaica, VT (Hamilton Falls) is 26 miles from Brattleboro-about a 50-minute drive. :)

I've been wanting to see Hamilton Falls for a while, but it's 3 hours from me. The website says it's the most impressive waterfall in the state. Whereever you end up going, I hope to see some of your shots.

I may be going to Hamilton Falls this Saturday if I can shake off my head cold by then. :) Can't wait.
