Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 EX Aspherical DF for Canon

How exciting. I was really pretty close to concluding that I never would ribbon. And to think I was considering spinning the camera for this one again. I just couldn't figure out how to do it in a triangular shape. ;)

Nice job, Neil! Clearly it was time to stop spinning the camera and go for a spin yourself. Your trip to the bridge certainly paid off. Time to cross you off the "most favorites without a ribbon" list.

That bridge had ribbon written all over it (graffiti on the left span. It's hard to see, but I'm sure it's there). Nice job color coordinating your entry to match the ribbon, too... geez, you thought of EVERYTHING! ;-)

Congratulations, Neil!!!! I was so excited when I saw who the ribbon winners were - felt as happy for you as if I had gotten one myself. So many times, I've felt how sort of disappointed and resigned you were that you got such good scores but not quite a ribbon. I'm REALLY pleased for you!!!

Thanks again to my "extended" DPC family!

It's not only a wonderful sight to see a ribbon in my profile this morning, but I was hovering near the 200 favorites mark but couldn't quite cross. This morning I awoke to 203!

Alas, I'm out of the informal "most favorites without a ribbon" competition. Skiprow was killing me anyway. But he'll be disqualified soon, because he's going to get a ribbon any week now. ;)

The BEST part about Neil, Skip and Brian (parrothead)is that I have never seen these guys whine and complain about scores and their egos. Whether or not you get a ribbon, that is what makes these three men winners for me. (Yes, there are some others which I hope will forgive me for not mentioning.)

I'm really chuffed you got a ribbon... hopefully it'll be like buses, nothing for ages and then loads at once.
