Greetings,
With yet another rainy weekend here in northern NH (USA) cabin fever was setting in hard so a buddy and I went for a little drive (250 miles +/- ) looking for moose, or a good cheeseburger (hey we're easily pleased) normally the moose are so thick up here, you cant go 20 miles without finding one, this time, all we saw were 2, maybe the moose hate rain too.... some highlights of the drive,
a wonderfull sentiment expressed on a state park sign in Maine,
a realization of why the goose crossed the road, to ponder the possibilities of course...
a typical view of the rain....
and of course the highly elusive moose....

Great shots! Love the first one.
BTW - In the winter, is it true that it's too snowy to drive when the snow is higher than a moose's knees? And how deep is that, anyway?
:)

It is pretty rainy recently in Edmonton too. I was desperate to take any picture for my P-A-D today so I just snapped a puddle in front of my house.
This is a picture from my âhuntâ for a moose from a week ago. I took it in Elk Island National Park.

Fantastic photos... I'd love to see a bigger version of your puddle. |

Thank you TechoShroom for providing a link to the larger version of the picture for BobsterLobster. I don't have internet access at work, otherwise it would be a disaster, no work would get done. Anyone interested in any of my nonDPC pictures is welcome to look through my PaD project.
BobsterLobster thanks for the nice comment, I am going to practice my "puddle photography" as long as it is raining here.:)
