I went to my local park (that I go every day for pictures). And their was a guy on some man made rapids, as well as a guy with a boogie board. I took quite allot of pictures. I think they turned out OK. They seem a bit out of focus. Loss of some of the details. Will try to work on taking more of these.

I think they look ok, not out of focus anyway. The kayaker looks to me just a bit over sharpened, look at the top of his helmut.

It would help viewers to analyze your shots and make suggestion to improve them if you would post the exposure data (aperture, shutter speed & ISO) when you upload them.

Thanks for viewing and replying. I apologize for not including any info on the shots. Was in a bit of a hurry but I corrected the problem.

Great action shot. The water seemed to me to appear to brown so I hope you don't mind I tried a quick edit to see if I could tone down a little and make it appear a little on the blue side. See what you think.

TY DD.

Judging from the info I would say you had only moderately good light to work with, and for that you did well. On a day with brighter sunlight, you could probably go to 1/1000 or faster and get the water stopped a little better. But that's nit picking, your shots are fine.

lol well actually it is brown. Spring runoff and it has been raining so it look more tea colored then anything.

Yeah it was heavy overcast and rain was coming. The worst part of it is it would get patches of changing sunlight. Not real break in the clouds but just enough to change things. I close the shutter down it would get to dark but then it would be fine. And back and forth. On my manual setting I can't have auto ISO. And didn't want to try anything above 200.

Yea I realized it was that color naturally. But I learned to change it a little because of a comment made about one of my entries because they said the brown water was not appealing. I didn't think it was bad, I just adjusted. Hope you didn't mind. Your shot looks good as-is.

Oh yeah I know what you meant. No offense taken at all. Just I am slow to understand =). I was thinking of changing it instead of the brown ichy poop water. Hopefully I can find the guys again. Thy do it on the weekends and can only pray that sunlight will show up this time.
