I love taking pictures of flowers while some are tired of seeing pictures of flowers. I personally could not understand why some don't enjoy them. Today while take a few pictures of flowers I tried to convey my confusion with a photograph. Maybe in some way I wanted to view the flowers from both sides. Any Comments?

Any comments on this one?

I like the effect however I feel it's a little overexposed.

I'm far too left-brained to have much of an appreciation for abstracts - it's me not you. :-) But technically, I think you could improve this type of shot in the same way that you would improve one without any camera shake. In a 1-second exposure. I think you'll capture richer colors and fewer blown-out areas if you stop down to f/16 or even more. I hope you get some feedback from someone who likes abstracts! :-)

Thanks everyone for your comments and critiques. I will try again and take some advice given.
I did another today but don't want to start another thread with pic's. So I hope you don't mind but I will put it up top with the other photo. What do you think of this one?

The title suits it perfectly; it's "confused". It lacks the ephemeral "purpose" of your better abstracts, and does little to please my eye. The chrome is beautifully rendered, but the image seems arbitrarily framed to me.

The first and second I left a post on. For those who have trouble with Arts, let it consume you. After all, paintings and drawings were the first photos through another's perception. Digital photography, then photo shopping is the same thing.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I just wanted to try something different. Step out of the box as we say. I love art, it was my first passion before photography.
