Has this happened to anyone else?

Sometimes when I access the menu it just exit's the screen by itself when I press an arrow key or sometimes when I want to delete a photo and I press the trash can button the lcd screen will go blank too.

Anyone knows what's up? A faulty lcd maybe?

Think it might have to do with taking the camera out of a bag from a cool area to a warmer one?

I have not had that to happen. I hope I don't.

Nope, haven't had anything like that happen before. Is this a new camera? Or is this just a new problem? Sounds like your camera has a little glitch. Still under warranty?

brushing the shutter button sounds like a likely explanantion.

I've noticed the way I hold my camera my finger is on/near the shutter button. Man, if that's why this has been happening I will kick myself in the balls for being such an idiot.

If you do that, then more than the menus will go blank for a while ;)

My finger accidentally hitting the shutter release button is not the problem after, looks like I need to send it to Canon. This couldn't happen at a worst time...I just my Sigma f2.8 105mm lens in the mail two days ago :(
