I have taken a shot for the apple challenge, the first one I've entered, and I have done some basic editing according to the rules. But when I try to enter the challenge, it tells me my picture is 562x750. Now I know the properties of the picture are 45.1 KB (46,233 bytes)can anyone tell me where I'm going wrong? Thanks in advance!

| The longest side should not be more than 640px, but in your case it's 750px. |

Max on the longest side can't be more than 640.

When you are resizing, if you keep the longest size at 640px or less and keep the filesize under 150kb you'd be fine. |

You probably don't need to apply as much compression either. Size your photo so the longest side is 600-640 pixels (youl'' get "comments" about smaller photos), and then save at the highest JPEG quality you can while keeping the file under 150k -- but use as much of that as you can.

it's weird, coz the size of my picture is 393x535 and it's still saying it can't do it.... maybe I should sleep on this one and try again in the morning lol

| Now it sounds as though your pixel dimensions are OK, but your JPEG setting is too high, so the file size (on disk) is over 150k. |
