I dunno if theyre dedicated but sunpak 555. Manual mode usually can warrant best results anyways, but that's only if you've got time to figure out your settings. Also Quantum flashes are really powerful but expensive. |

I TOTALLY agree with you, manual is the sweet spot... I already have a great manual flash (nikon sb-16b). Has alot of features the Metz 54 has such as the dual flash. One flash on the front is a catch/fill and the main one is for bounce.
I'm starting to look for something more automated for dynamic lighting situations to go with my S1 (like the N60 it does not take advantage of the "D" function on newer lenses [sending the distance of the subject to your camera.]
SO, an auto zooming head is not a priortiy for me. Besides, when you use bounce flash the zoom-head on all auto-flashes its set to the widest angle. |

My dad has a Promaster flash for his Oly 8080. The TTL work like it should and when you bounce it, the little direct key flash does a great job of putting a nice highlight in the eye without giving redeye. The whole setup was about $180 or less than half of the equivalent Olympus unit. |
