I took these photos yesterday and i would like some opinions on how they are and what i could do to make it better. 1was done (too late triangle) with telephoto lens(.48x) and they other two are wide angle lens.i wonder if my names on that tree? contrast/brightness(slight)
tastes of summerdesat all levels but red(slight desat),contrast/brightness down
too late triangle didnt zoom past lens attachment(telephoto) contrast/brightness & curves

edit: If u think these photos are aweful please tell me....i promise no hard feeling will come from giving ur opinion..I can take critism...good or bad..really i can take it so give it to me with both barrels! :o)

Hi Cheryl,

I took a quick peek at your images.

i wonder if my names on that tree? - this one invokes a nice mood however the tree is a little dark to make the message very strong. More contrast in the shadows would probably help.

tastes of summer - Maybe a bit too much zoom. A wider angle and Watermelon rather than a strawberry may have made the image better. It also seems a little dark.

too late triangle - I like this effect with the teleconverter. The colours are very appealing. Again the image may be a bit dark. It also may be a bit crooked.

Just my thoughts.

2nd and 3rd a good compositions...the first however? i'm not so sure...

you've got this person taking up most of the image but you're only showing us her back. It's a lot of image used for very little substance of interest. Sure a back can have some intriguing interest (usually only if horrifically hairy or better - sensuous). This is neither. Just seems to be...

I think you'd be better off capturing the mood by zooming out and placing focus on the mood as opposed to a "back"

The other ones appear dark (but I think that's just the monitor i am currently viewing them on). But decent compositions.

Hope that helped?

i noticed that it(triangle) was crooked after i posted it too...i guess ill have to reset my monitor because they didnt look dark to me....strawberrys are my daughters fav's that why i shot it. ive been trying to learn macro and one of the lessons ive read said to zoom where u are past what u think is too close....this is the farthest away shot i took...other ones cut off her eyes( which i love but i am kinda biased on this aspect) i thought the same thing on "wonder if my names on that tree" but im scared of doing too much to an image and messing the whole effect up( going by my challenge submission i have a serious problem of doing this very thing with contrast and saturations) i just have to learn thru trial and error. thank you for taking the time to comment...its very much appriciated! :o)
