Ok, this is for all those people hat have a bicycle, not tricycle.

Bikeracer you listening??

motor cycles are ok, but mainly to those that have to use human power. road bikes, cross country bikes, mountain bikes, beach cruisers, cheap kmart knock offs, the like.

post a pix of your bike, and the road, trail, or single track you absolutely love to ride, or you down right avoid.

I'm a bicycle commuter and tourist. Love traveling that way, except in the real extreme cold weather, although, this past winter I bicycled home during two bad snow storms (really not as bad as I thought it would be). I'll take a pic of my bike and post later.

Damn!@ I just realize that I could have used my bikes for the triangle challenge. Don't know if I could have composed anything interesting out of them.

I'm not sure where the picture of my bike is currently. But here is a Link to my type of bike.

I have the Cannondale T-1000 touring bike. I also have a three wheel cargo bike. Looks kind of like this one:

Listening!

Ok, here are the bike shots I have handy:

This is/was one of my favorite trails:

The North County Trailway - a rails to trails project - It's also the same one (albeit this shot is several miles north of my accident) where I broke my coccyx.

Here are some Campy cogs:

I know - not traditional photos (they're not even photos, I scanned the cogs on my flatbed then had fun with PS) but I like them a lot.

Here is a shot I didn't submit for a challenge:

(I forget which one)

Here are my most recent shots:

This is me on the trails in Central Kentucky several years ago. I currently live in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. We do some serious offroad riding almost every weekend. It is fantastic place for mountain biking and photography. Come for a visit.

I don't have any pictures handy, but I've got a couple of bikes- A Cannondale R900 road bike that I just took out for a lunch ride and a Specialized Rockhopper mountain bike that I have worn out every part but the seatpost on. I'm on my second fork, second set of rims, second cranks, third seat, fourth cog set, fourth chain, second derailleur, second stem, etc.!

Sadly, I live in NYC and can't afford an upgrade, so I'm riding my old Lemond Zurich (go steel!) until a Litespeed or Trek finds its way under the Christmas tree. I've swapped around a few parts since this photo - new seatpost, san marco aspide saddle, Mavic cosmo wheelset - but the damn thing still weighs 22+ lbs.

My favorite strip in Central Park is Harlem Hill in the Northwest corner - little more than a third of a mile long, averages at 4.5% (hangs a sharp left at the top of the photo into an S curve to the peak). Not terribly challenging, but when you're on the fifth lap of a 45-mile criterium (park is a 6.2-mile loop) and the pack is pushing 20+ mph uphill, it's definitely a dealbreaker.

Dam, my mountain bike that is 10 years old weighs just under 26lbs. And I thought it was heavy. =)

Back in the Day I used to be a Bike Enthusiest..
Early 80's I raced and did some Freestyle (before the X-Games made it so Popular).
My first Bike was SE Racing's "Qaud Angle", it was a little heavy, so I got SE Racing's "Pk-Ripper" I loved that bike, but it got stolen.
My third bike I got a Redline Proline2, converted over a little for more of a freestyle bike. I think that bike is still in my dads attic in Florida..

Yeah, pretty much my most ridden route in terms of miles and rides. I still have this dream that I'll get in good enough shape to do 4 laps solo in under an hour.

How close are you now?

God I feel so lame with a wimpy dsc-p8 under my name.

I don't really know - I haven't ridden my bike in over a year (closer to 2 years) I could probably muster 15mph for 24 miles, but I'm sure it would hurt. The closest I've ever been is ~22mph average for 4 laps.

And, don't feel bad about the P8, my first digicam was a DSC-P5 - I loved that thing until it got dust on the sensor (or inside the lens)
