I know its short notice and not to take away from the water fall gtg this weekend but I was cruising across the Gardiner Express way and saw that it ill be closed at the DVD all weekend starting at 11:00pm friday night. Anybody interested in shooting the city from a different perspective this weekend let me know. I'm thinking friday night so people can still make the waterfall thing sat.

there is a photo show up at the International center this weekend, also. All the major manufacturers will be there.... Konica-minolta, Canon, Nikon, HP, Epson.. etc.. You can look at all the different things and lens...plus they usually have small seminars on lighting etc...

Sheesh I think everyone in the GTA is anti-GTG. *grin* I think we need to start planning around places that serve alcohol and pub grub! |

Black Creek would be cool. Let me do a quick check on their hours etc... and I'll get back to you.
I have to find somewhere interesting to go this depressing city is killing my creativity. |

*grin* I'd have to commute to work if I did, and I can't see myself doing that. Also I pay enough in rent as is. Still going on Friday? It's supposed to rain... |

I commute into Toronto for work and like to spend my lunch hour walking around. There are lots of interesting places to see outside within walking distance of the core.
- Queen Street west of University.
- Spadina Ave.!
- Around Skydome.
- U of T campus just up Queen street has lots of interesting old buildings.
- The downtown core.
I'm sure there are plenty more I have yet to discover. I love it!

I'd be commuting out of Toronto for work, assuming I moved to Toronto as notonline is suggesting I should. Which would be an easy commute opposite to traffic - However, I hate driving longer then 5 minutes to get to work and as mentioned above the rent for my size of apartment would be insane. I prefer to visit Toronto to wander around (all good suggestions you have there by the way) rather then live there. |

Ya, I like living in Burlington, we're a short walk to the lake & I prefer the less crowded feel. Toronto is where most of the work is for me, but I don't mind the commute too much. I took the train in this morning, here's a shot of the track I road in on :-)
-edit: actaully, my wife is swinging by to pick me up after work, we're heading east and will be driving up the DVP this afternoon, yikes, traffic!
