I love the Amazing Race the one with Boston Rob from survivor starts here tonight so I skipped most of this thread not to find out anything.
It's on late here so I watch it and tape it for my kids to watch, we get a real kick out of the extreme emotions some of these people go through.
I'll try and avoid this thread (won't be easy)

I think i'm fed up with Rob and Ambers cheating. No one else gets help...and last night ... Rob and Amber didn't answer ANY Of the riddles, the person they conned into helping them did it all... took em everywhere... seems like if anyone else did that they'd get penalized. Granted teh others asked wherre tplaces were... but they at least did the rest themselves

If rob adn Amber win... I refuse to watch any other amazing races...

Rob adn Amber came in first...
the old couple got eliminated,

next week is the final... and we already know that cheaters win on this program... so Rob and Amber will most likely win

Hey, I am one of the bowling moms from the amazing race. It was a total ball and if you have any questions you can ask me. I LOVE photography and sure had a hard time not bringing my camera with me on the show. I will be in San Diego for the final episode of this season with 10 other contestants from previous seasons. (including, chip and kim, Johnthan and Victoria, Jon and Chris, Hayden and arron) We will be watching the show at Trophies. (i have never heard of it, it is a restrauant/bar combo). Well, i hope to hear from some of you. Linda

I would have to disagree with you. By the AR rules they haven't cheated. If they would they would be penalized or eliminated. They're using all their resources available to them and not helping anyone else in the process. Yes they lie and Rob is full of himself but they are the smartest team there and I hope they win!! :-)

Wow!

Anyway you could write up anything about your time in the Race? Things that those at home may not realize goes on (ex. you guys race with 1-2 production crews and when you purchase plane tickets they need tickets as wel, etc. what goes on during the mandatory rest periods.. do you hang out with other teams or have a chance to play tourist?)

Was bringing a camera against race rules? That would have been the first thing I would have packed.

So what is Jonathan really like? LOL

And for those questioning avbowler's claims... look at one of her pictures in her user profile and you can clearly see a picture of the bowling moms in the shot in the top right of the frame. She is the real deal.

Any thoughts on how its going to end? What order will they come in? What final tasks will they have to do? Will it be a good finish, or lame like last season?

just so you know, us aussies have really just started the new season. Last week the guys from carolina went. I believe it was the first one. :) So i wont be reading your posts. Dont want it ruined now.

Season Finale tonight!

Here are my predictions:

1. Rob & Amber
2. Uchena & Joyce
3. Ron & Kelly

I think Rob & Amber have been solid performers throughout, with lots of first place finishes. Their fame may be a factor in eliciting help from standers-by as well. I don't think Rob will get too cocky, he's going to put the pedal to the metal & Amber is a rock solid competitor too.

I'm hoping for some solid entertainment, with any luck Kelly will implode and Ron will wake up and dump her on national television.

Woo hoo! Looking forward to the Big Show tonight. I'll be watching it at Amber's parents' house. Our local CBS affiliate (KDKA) will be broadcasting from the house tonight, so watch for me lurking ominiously in the background :)

I LOVED THE BOWLING MOMS!!!! My friend and I go bowling (not league) on the weekends while our kids skateboard and we totally related to you!! I hated to see you guys get the big boot, but you were a pleasure to watch. Good luck on the site and welcome!

I think Rob and Amber should win, and I think they deserve it. They haven't cheated. They have done what everyone on that show should have the balls to do, use every advantage that they come across, work every situation into your favor, play every angle. That is the way you win. Winning is not sitting back and hoping you are the better team. I know they have money from Survivor, but darn if they dont deserve this! I do hope if they win they donate some to charity since they have won trips and other prizes. I'd like to see Euchean and Joyce come in 2nd and Ron and Kelly (the most awful girl in the world) 3rd place. I still can not get over her saying he copped out of the military by being a POW, that man is a HERO. Anyway.. go Rob and Amber!!! :)

Linda, I hope you TOLD Jonathon what a charming ...not! person that he was.

I just love this show and I hope that Uchenna and Joyce win. They've always been nice towards the others and have played it fair and square without lying like some people we know. :-0

I have to admit, I laughed at the piece where Rob and Amber discovered that the others had got to a place before they did.

lol.. I was still pulling for rob and amber right up till the last minute! then I see they are having a rob & amber get married show, so I am glad Euchenan and Joyce won :) I'm sure they will get the ryan and trista wedding deal, everything paid for by cbs... lucky dogs...

Agree that I am glad the race ended as it did. But I was screaming at U&J to just get the driver's name and run and win and come back to pay him. I mean, jeez!

I am so jazzed one of the bowling Moms chimed in. I loved them and had hoped they would win their season!!

Well, I enjoyed the show at the Brkich's house tonight... and I even got on the evening news in this highly flattering shot. I'm the one right in front of the camera, looking like Yoda.

OMG, that was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! Easily the best ending since TAR4 (that one had a great footrace at the end).

I'm really happy for U&J. EVERYONE was crying and that was totally cool.

I thought it would have been funny if U&J came down the finish line begging for money from the other racers. :) They did SO well with a HUGE disadvantage.

R&A ran a great race, but after 3 seasons of them I was really ready for someone else to get some screen time. :)

And Kelly getting her right and left mixed up just confirms everyone's theory: she's a mess. I liked Ron a lot, but I'm glad they bit it at the end.

Sorry about the Yoda picture, Alan. LOL!

I can't wait until the next Amazing Race show starts again, if there will be another. Hey Alansfreed, just as well your hands were strategically placed in that TV shot. :-)

Anyone watching the Bachelor show with Charlie O'Connell? It doesn't appeal to me as much as the other Bachelor shows did.
