I took this on Wednesday at Tamozawa Imperial Villa in Nikko - but I didn't get to convert/edit it until Saturday, after the deadline for the dreams challenge (for which I was eligible). I also could've entered the outside-in challenge, but I was too lazy.
The swirly effect is due to the pane of glass in the window. What do you think?

Thanks for the comment. I think the "confusing" aspect of it gives it a dreamlike quality. I was talking about the place with one of the teachers today, and he mentioned the glass in the windows - I guess it must be famous glass.
