At some point, this thread was next to this one:(by pure coincidence, I'm sure)

Personally, I've received a lot of help when I needed it the most. The best way to repay generous people is by helping others whenever I can.

Just my 0.02 - of course I know that you will remember someone less fortunate and participate at least in a symbolic way.

Congratulations!

Well, here is part of the story I did not tell. I had parked my car where there are parking meters. I went to put some money in when I noticed that there was 2 hours on my meter (maximum). So, I went up the row and put money in all the meters that were about to run out and those that had run out. (some towns you can go to jail for that). Then I bought a ticket and won $5. (the price of the ticket) Well you can enter a second chance drawing if you lose, so I wanted to win big or lose and enter for a boat. I could not believe that I won! I forgot to post a picture of the ticket on my blog, but I did post one at DPQ if anyone wants to see it ;)
Thanks all and I will remember charity ;)

Ok, forget what I said about being your cousin. Just call me "Uncle Sam" :)

Have fun with it - you're right, it will go fast!

"Ok, alionic, your total comes to $42,536.57. We'll apply the $25k credit from your lotto winnings, leaving a balance of $17,536.57. Will that be debit or credit?" ;-)

Believe it or not, many people go into greater debt spending the money because it feels like it should buy more than it really does. Still, I wouldn't run away from it. :)
