The funny thing is is that you're not given credit on the edited version.

Maybe you need to ask them to delete it.

Um, he cant do that.

I am sure SC will take care of it.

Don't jump to conclusions maybe he did it for a reason and forgot it was there. Did you know he took it?

No no no .. I am not mad. I just thought it was funny... I would be nice to have the favorite on my picture though since it was mine originally. Unless of course they thought his/hers was better than mine...

What I was asking was did you put it in the forums for other people to edit. That has been done many times here and it can be possible for people to forget it is there.

If not then by all means be mad, someone stole your photo without your permission. That is not allowed.

It was a long time ago so I can't remember exactly but I think I added this photo asking what I could do to make it better and he may have done that to give me an idea so he must have forgot to take it off...

Oh it is probably innocent. My only point is you cant take another persons photo, modify it and stick it in your portfolio.

He probably did not know and eostyles is not upset...so its no big deal.

But, like I said you cant do that.

I am agreeing with you. People take othere peoples photos all the time here when asked in the forums for editing suggestions. They usually give credit though.

I think the proper way to do that is to post that persons modified photo to your workshop folder, so it is only visible in the thread where the editing is discussed, not in your portfolio. And to name it clearly indicating that it's someone elses photo (and/or put comments in).

And then probably to eventually delete it--though if you do, it's lost from the forums, so that I guess depends on the photographer.

Now I guess it's possible that this photo is in the workshop folder, and someone accessed it through the thread and then favorited it.

But in any case, credit definitely should be given to eostyles with an explanation that it's simply edited by request.
