ahh man what a mess. I guess I just have to wait 24 hours and see.

I registered the domain through 123cheapdomains.com but I want to host it at godaddy because the prices seem better. I'm just going to wait until tomorrow and see that it's definately registered then be an annoying, unknowledgeable customer and call godaddy's technical support with any stupid questions I may have.

I already designed my site so I'm getting eager to put it up -- although the links don't work yet and there's not much content to it yet....so I have some work ahead of me...but now it's time for bed.

Again, thanks all for your support.

In PA is is much easier to have (start) a business with your name in it - no paperwork.

If you want to be PictureInfinity for example, you have state paperwork and have to publish notices in the paper. you then take the form the state gives you back and use it to open a bank account.

If you are David Paull Photography you need do nothing.

David, as to hosting your website - save your money. You are a comcast customer and get 25Mb of online webs space for each email address (you can have 7 of them...) and if you want to go with ASP they support that too. The site i maintain for my train club //www.keystonedivision.org is on one of my comcast 'spaces'. GoDaddy is where the domain is parked, i transferred there for renewal as it was cheaper than domaindirect.com, where i originally registered it. Godaddy redirects it to my space for free...

Other things i have sitting on other comcast spaces:
my rought draft of a photo website: //chris_perry.home.comcast.net/
//cjperry3.home.comcast.net/auto/ an old stale car site

I have a few other random pages laying about there as well.

have a look at //www.powweb.com for your hosting
a flat rate of $7.77/month with lots included
I'll be moving my sites over to powweb in the next few months

they are giving 6 months free with the first year at the moment
