On a recent class trip to Mauna Kea, the worlds tallest mountain if you count from sea level, we visited the world famous observatories (okay, so it was only the visitors center and some large telescopes set up outside) and took some photos of the beautiful scenery and even a few planets, though blurry they may be. Hoping for some critiques if I can even manage to get any photos up here, but if I can't, they can be found in my recent portfolio additions :-/

| Um, since my pictures aren't showing I was also wondering if anybody could tell me why. |

Don't post the "image" in the forums, use the Post Thumbnail button on the top-right. Type in only the IMAGE_ID number which appears at the end of the image's url; for your first image, that's 175547.
You'll then get a posted thumbnail with a link to the image page, like this:

I think you meant "World's tallest mountain if you count from the sea floor". But Everest would still be the tallest measured from the sea floor! Matters not, I'll bet it was a fun place to visit!
