Maccabi Tel Aviv is the champion on the Euroleague in Basketball, second time in a row!!!
What a great game that was....

Maccabi Tel Aviv (=Israel) against Tao Vitoria (=Spain).
Usualy I would add some cynical remark about America not being qualified for the Euroleague, but does Israel really...?
Oh well, it's the second time in a row that we take the championship!
Now we just have to win the nationals and the yellow&blue will be our flag! |

Given the recent state of the world basketball, I think that the euro champs might start calling themselves the champions of the world (like NBA used to call their champions a while back).
ps. they still do, but before it had legitimacy behind it...

I wonder... are you being cynical? I mean.. c'mon. Israel the champions of the world? I love my country but even still it sounds a bit too much...
We're the best in basketball. Unfortunately not in football which is my favorite sports, but I'll do with the europe championship for now.
