Wow, Ken! The woody one is cute in an obvious sort of way.
The hotel, however, is very clever. What an eye - great job!

Great Woody picture. ;-)

Very crude. I'm not that good with the tablet and stylus.

Kitty found a warm place to sleep.

Well, unfortunately my 'Five' entry took a little longer to finish than I'd anticipated, ten minutes to spare. It's not easy getting five sheep in g-strings to pose with me. As a result, the wife stormed off to bed and there will be no whoopie for me tonight. :-(

...and...

After minutes of painstaking deliberation... the envelope, please...

The "Golden Slippy" goes to:

kpriest

Pulls it off after I thought buzzmom had it all wrapped up.

The "Two-Thumbs-Up" goes to:

buzzmom

Sorry buzzmom, the Golden Slippy was in the palm of your hand, only to be snatched away by the evil kpriest.

The "I'll Drink To That" goes to:

hyperfocal

(Ingenious use of objects from my own portfolio!)

Thanks, everyone, for taking part. It was fun to see what you did with the starting photo, I laughed, I cried, I wondered where all the nude depictions were... again (special thanks to Justine for an almost nude. Congrats to the winners, you may now hang your awards proudly on the wall in your den!

And with that cutting & pasting, the second Golden Slippy awards have come to a close.

OK, nice work, and, by the way, I hate it when I look out the window & see the wing on fire while the plane is flying in reverse. So, you get the not so coveted:

"So Sad, Too Late" award

I think Slippy's anti-art. I protest. I rant & rave. My beautiful art upstaged by CARTOONS? Hmmmph.

Now, I'll admit that Ken's architectural shot is in a class of its own and may, in fact probably DOES, deserve the designation "Art"... Nevertheless I maintain that Slippy's consistently demonstrated a bias towards the burlesque/vaudevillian orientation, and we sensitive artists are being hurt by this bias.

What? You don't think my "spaceship" is "art"? Sigh..........

Wonderful contest, Slippy. Keep 'em coming.

LOL, sorry bear, I admit, I lean toward silly cartoony stuff, I guess that's why a point & shoot camera & Windows Paint are good enough for me. I was a big fan of Ren & Stimpy back in the day, if you've seen that fine show you'll have some insight into what is art to me.
